Fashion with Jazz ~ 4th Annual Rim Ed Fashion Show

The 4th Annual Rim Education Foundation Fashion Show!  April 21, 2013.  One of the major fundraiser for Rim Education Foundation is the fashion show every year.  This year it will be held at the Lake Arrowhead Resort.  It will be held on April 21, 2013 at 2PM.  This will be a great show and will be modeled by locals!

Lake Arrowhead Rotary Art and Wine Festival June 29-30th, 2013

It is hard to believe looking at the picture below that the Lake Arrowhead Rotary Art and Wine Festival is just a few short months away.

Save the date for the Lake Arrowhead Rotary Art and Wine Festival.  It will be held on June 29th and June 30th, 2013.  This is always a fun weekend, which is held in the Tavern Bay Beach Club.  There will over 70 artist from all over Southern California show casing their crafts.  There will be food vendors, wine tastings, VIP tent and so much more.  I will keep you posted when more information is provided.

Lake Arrowhead, What are Lake Rights?

This is a big question if you are thinking of owning property around the Lake Arrowhead area.  Lake Arrowhead is a private lake in the San Bernardino Mountains.   I am often asked what does lake rights mean?  What “Lake Rights” mean is that anyone who owns property within the “Arrowhead Woods” boundaries have the right to use Lake Arrowhead.

There are two type of ownership’s in Lake Arrowhead, either an improved property or an unimproved property.    If you have an improved property (Home) you have the right to use the lake and buy a dock.  An unimproved property has limited lake rights, but still would allow you to use the lake and rent a dock or use the lake on a daily launch basis.  Both allow you to belong to the beach clubs here in Lake Arrowhead.   If you live outside of the boundaries of lake rights you cannot use Lake Arrowhead.

A nice thing about being a private lake is that the integrity, care, health of the lake are of great concern.  Lake Arrowhead’s “Small Town Charm” applies on the lake too.  You know the people who you are boating around.

The Arrowhead Lake Association is the governing board that runs the lake and it is made up with home owners who represent different districts of the lake.

The following photo is a lake map outlining the lake right boundaries.  The blue dotted line on the map indicates that the properties within the dotted lines have lake rights.

Lake Arrowhead Lake Front Home Sales 2011 vs. 2012

Lake Arrowhead Lake Front Homes.  The Lake Arrowhead Lake Front market is alive and well in Lake Arrowhead, CA.  I have taken and broken down a year by year look at 2011 and 2012.  We had 30 Lake Front homes in Lake Arrowhead sell in 2011 verses in 2012 we had 24 Lake Front homes in Lake Arrowhead sell.  This can be equated to a change in our inventory from two years ago which gives us a lower inventory now.  

In 2012 we had a few really good deals out there on Lake Front Homes in Lake Arrowhead,  a couple were short sales and bank owned properties… and those were fantastic deals and money in the bank for the buyers!  I am sure there will be other great deals out there and there are some great deals out there currently for Lake Front Homes in Lake Arrowhead.

Lake Arrowhead Home Sales January 2013
