Lake Arrowhead Home Sales for September 2012 were still cranking out for the Summer.
We saw movement in every price point this past month. Two Lake Arrowhead Lakefronts sold, a couple gated and quite a bit in the mid range. All positives. We did see a couple of homes have multiple offers on them. Great time to buy or sell in LakeArrowhead, rates are down, inventory is moving and the weather has turned in to Fall.

Home Sales in the Arrowhead Villas, Crestline, Running Springs and Twin Peaks areas are definitely picking up. An interesting thing in Crestline is that the home sale prices are starting to increase. There hasn’t been many homes over $200K, and this month we see that is not the case. If you’re looking for an affordable vacation home these other areas are the place to start.

Friday Night is Market Night in Lake Arrowhead, CA~ 4:30PM and the Summer Concert Series continues with the “Fenians”at Center Stage in the Lake Arrowhead Village at 6:30PM ~ They are a great Irish Music Band. You won’t want to miss them.
Saturday Night the Concert will be “Martha Davis and the Motels”are playing at Center Stage at 6:30PM ~ If you are a child of the 80’s you wont want to miss this one either!!!

Golf Course and Lake View homes in Lake Arrowhead do have a value. I know some will wager that it only has a value to some people, and that might be true.
However, you can’t compare a home for $195,000 that sits on a main road with a view of the home behind it and no other view to a home that is very similar with a Lake Arrowhead lake view for a $100,000 more.
The home on the main road is going to be noisy and when you go to resell the home you are going to battle with the home being on a busy, main road. The Lake Arrowhead lake view home sits on a private road in a quiet neighborhood, is in better condition and will have a higher resale value in the future.
This past week on broker tour there was a home in the Lake Arrowhead Golf Course area, listed for $364,500 with a stunning view of Grass Valley Lake and the golf course. This home lives like a golf course frontage home for a fraction of the price it would take to buy an actual golf course frontage home. We have many clients who love the golf course area and have spent the money to enjoy this lifestyle.
