Another month gone in Lake Arrowhead and home sales are stronger than ever. The following chart illustrates home sales for Lake Arrowhead for the month of August. All information was obtained from RIM AOR and is deemed reliable but not guaranteed.

Due to the families that are fighting the concerts in the Village we have yet another hearing set for their appeal. Summer concerts are part of the evening fun we all celebrate and enjoy. But some believe it is not an enjoyment and that the noise level interferes with their dinner hour and the crickets. However, this is part of living in a Resort community. People are on vacation or like some of us, live here, work here and do this year round. Just because a few people come up only on the weekend doesn’t mean they should dictate the rest of the community.
I encourage anyone who enjoys the concert the Lake Arrowhead Village puts on to attend the meeting. Support our businesses and our community. The Lake Arrowhead Village has gone to great lengths to keep the noise level at acceptable levels, but that still isn’t good enough for some. Save the Concerts!!!

The Lake Arrowhead Appeal Hearing, scheduled with the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 is being continued to the September 23, 2014 Board of Supervisors Hearing.

This is the time of year that most people are not thinking about buying a dock in Lake Arrowhead. However, this could be the best time to reach out and buy a dock while the picking is still good. There are currently 16 docks on the market in Lake Arrowhead. Prices ranging from $40,000 to $147,000 ~ (multiple verses single slip dock)
Facts ~ All docks in Lake Arrowhead have an actual APN and are taxed. In order to own a dock in Lake Arrowhead you must own improved property within Arrowhead Woods and the dock purchased then becomes attached to the home.
54 Docks have sold so far this year, prices ranging from $21,000 to $170,000 ~ compared to 2012 there were 45 docks sold and the prices ranging from $29,000 ~ $150,000, as you can see prices remained close to the same on the low end, increasing on the single slip dock area.
